I like trees because they seem more resigned to the way they have to live than other things do. ~Willa Cather
Footnote: This is a tree that fell outside my office during the PNW Storm that hit late Dec. 14th. I was one of the lucky ones who had power. Many people I know are still without it.

Hey - great photo and site here. Glad you were lucky.
Thanks for the funny and kind comment- haha- yeah- that snorting is pretty sick
I love that quote! I have an Uncle in Ottawa who has drawn trees for most of his life. He's 79 now...still drawing the hell out of them. I love that guy.
Thanks for stopping by with your nice comments. Glad the storm's over! :)
Here's to 'Uncle in Ottawa"! May he continue to draw trees and keep the love of nature alive ; )
Thanks to both of you - peace.
I think the same goes for birds, among others. Anyways, I'm a fan of both. Like I just wrote in an answer to a comment on my place that the person's Council is thinking of culling the seagulls who gohunting the McDonalds garbage:"Leave the gulls alone, live with them and CULL McDonalds!".
