Oh I love this. If only all of us could say. As a man, as a woman, as a human being...We are citizens of the world. Connected inseparably by our common humanity.
I always thought that as an artist I see the world that way. Also, because I've moved so much in my life, have spent very little time in Canada yet still remain a citizen there. I often joke about being a woman without a country.
This is how I characterize myself as well, especially since I'm so many things put together over the course of generations. I've always liked the idea of being a "person of the world".
I enjoy the outdoors, where I gather much of my creative inspiration. I find it necessary to spend time in nature, for balance and sanity. Get Zapped is where I post my photos accompanied by quotes I find intriguing. Get Zen is for sharing my Illustrations, design work, poetry, and other creative outlets. Thanks for stopping by.

well, i don't really thing you need to be a woman to consider the whole world your country but it probably helps :)
that would be 'think' of course
this is a lovely sentiment.
hmm, very philosophical blog you have, the photos posted were awesome...
I'm with Polona. To make this only a woman's statement is prejudicial.
Very cool quote and so important.
