we are also trying to get into our little garden this week with sunny weather here in london.

smell like dirt, look like dirt, feel like dirt, move like dirt. yup--that's me, the happy gardener.
my only problem is my nails, which do not appreciate digging without gloves but i don't want to wear gloves, because then i won't feel the dirt!

I have a corner of a community garden and am watching my little ballerina poppy seedlings sprout. I also started a kitchen garden and will grow veggies until it's time to put in the chrysanthemums. When I have a significant amount of green I will post a photo or too. Happy Equinox to you Zap. May you embrace the return of the light..

There was a store here years ago that used to sell scents in a bottle and one of them was "dirt." My favorite one was "grass." (The kind you mow!)
They really smelled exactly like they would have in nature. I wish I could bottle salt air ;)
