Afar

A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain? ~Kahlil Gibran

Peace and Joy to those near and far.

Merry Christmas!

oh yes yes yes yes yes!! I'm so often comforted or more connected to those far away. I guess it's all a matter of perspective or needs at the time, yes?

Too late for wishing a merry Christmas, I hope it was for you.

My three children are far from me, happily I know I may telephone to them ; so I never do that.
I know I can, it is enough. And they were with us for Christmas...
