Nothing You Can Do

Old age is like a plane flying through a storm. Once you're aboard, there's nothing you can do. ~Golda Meir

sad but true (about ageing, that is; i still think things can be done about avoiding storms)...

Great series, GZ. There is all that which remains beyond our control, perhaps thankfully. Getting old is one of them, I guess. We can try & do our best to live all the time properly, being the best we can be, giving & putting others before ourselves. And we're still gonna end up locked in that plane. Golda's line sounds like out of Groucho Marx. I wouldn't disagree with either of them.

polona- yeah, like ride the wave! ;)

icarus- so much wisdom in her words, we can embrace the aging process or fight it, either way, we're in it! It's nice to hear from you ;p

lyrically- hey, you're back!
