aawwww! what a wonderful thought! i just helped my beloved spunky daughter give birth to her second son and how fitting to read this quote this morning.
once i was thinking about how much i love her and i said to myself, 'i'd give her both my eyes without question'. then i thought of my partner and others i very much love too, and i thought, 'i know for sure i'd give up one eye'. it makes me laugh, how much love i have for that girl of mine.
So clearly and well said... So lovely mother and daughter... Of course it will be the same for a daughter.... She will find a man being like her father or completely opposite to him.
I enjoy the outdoors, where I gather much of my creative inspiration. I find it necessary to spend time in nature, for balance and sanity. Get Zapped is where I post my photos accompanied by quotes I find intriguing. Get Zen is for sharing my Illustrations, design work, poetry, and other creative outlets. Thanks for stopping by.

ha, love the quote and the photo.
Women have a way of doing that, mainly through inspiration.
And you, my friend are inspiring indeed ;)
I hope you're well!

Beautiful! I agree!
I'm delighted you all were moved by the photo and quote. I thought Margaret makes an interesting point.
I've been hosting and vacationing with family for a week, thus my commenting and posting has wanned.
Back in Action!
Margaret is on the money, to be sure.
This is such a beautiful portrait! With an interesting quote.
