devika- me either. I've been a vegetarian, but am not now. I recall a restaurant (hamburger joint) years ago back east, that had sides of beef hanging and you could see them through the glass as you waited to order. I was vegetarian at the time and really affected me. And it still would if I saw it.
lolo- yes it does!
janice- way to go. That's not easy to do for some.
I don't know if it would be really so. I read that we use to consider that animals for food are not such as pets. In France for instance we eat rabbit. (I don't. I'm almost vegetarian)
I enjoy the outdoors, where I gather much of my creative inspiration. I find it necessary to spend time in nature, for balance and sanity. Get Zapped is where I post my photos accompanied by quotes I find intriguing. Get Zen is for sharing my Illustrations, design work, poetry, and other creative outlets. Thanks for stopping by.

i wonder... i'm quite certain there would be protests against glass walls rather than against the killing.
This is true! I am a vegetarian
oh this is so true...and Polona has an interesting point...humans can be focused on the wrong stuff....
I can't imagine a glass walled slaughter house...nor can I be a vegetarian for the implied reason..
I am a pucca non-vegetarian ---just can't help! :)
A dilemmic quote, :)
wishes,
devika
What a visual that quote conjers up. Awful.
Polona does have a good point of people "missing the point!"
Wish it were so - I shudder to think of all that killing...I'm vegan too.
A highly thought-provoking quote...
True.
polona- you make a valid point.
A&P- good for you!
diana- ditto.

PHaiku- thanks for stopping by.
Very true for the majority of Americans.
agree with polona
and one should remember the old adage of one man's food is another man's poison!
Funny what we will accept if it is packaged a certain way.
I love animals :-)
Thank you for the comment about my illustraton on the blog. :)
hmmm ... i'd better stay out of this one. :) ... but it's probably a fairly accurate prediction.
