I remember I used to half believe and wholly play with fairies when I was a child. What heaven can be more real than to retain the spirit-world of childhood, tempered and balanced by knowledge and common-sense... ~Beatrix Potter
I love her! She's brought so much joy to so many people. What a wonderful quote by such a special lady :) I think I'll take the beautiful book I have of her work off the shelf and treat myself to a little Beatrix indulgence!
studio- me, too. Did you see the film? It's great. I'm writing and illustrating a children's picture book and Ms. Potter inspired me to do so ;) Enjoy!
GZ, if I can help you with any questions about publishing, just ask. I was published long ago but I stay current with SCBWI. If you don't belong, you should consider joining. I used to give little workshops on how to submit your children's manuscripts. My books are in their 17th printing and have just come out in board book format. I'm lucky :) I can't wait to see yours!
I enjoy the outdoors, where I gather much of my creative inspiration. I find it necessary to spend time in nature, for balance and sanity. Get Zapped is where I post my photos accompanied by quotes I find intriguing. Get Zen is for sharing my Illustrations, design work, poetry, and other creative outlets. Thanks for stopping by.
