I am not sure if this is the intended meaning of the proverb, but what I get out of it is that if we are simply patient and allow ourselves to grow (or, be grown by God) we will naturally fulfill our intended purpose in life.
The picture reminds me of the farmer's market yesterday...I bought two itty-bitty little watermelons- they're so cute! I love farmer's markets so much!
lp- I understood it like that, that we will ripen when the time is right, to have the faith. Yes, I love farmer's markets too, and you reminded me that Thurs. is the day they come to my neighborhood. ;)
I enjoy the outdoors, where I gather much of my creative inspiration. I find it necessary to spend time in nature, for balance and sanity. Get Zapped is where I post my photos accompanied by quotes I find intriguing. Get Zen is for sharing my Illustrations, design work, poetry, and other creative outlets. Thanks for stopping by.
