Our Love

Our love is like the misty rain that falls softly, but floods the river. ~African Proverb

WOW!! This sounds like something I would have read in this book I'm reading called, "Rumi: The book of love: Poems of ecstacy and longing". I love this proverb! Thanks so much for sharing it. Now I'm going to site here for a few minutes, stare at the photo and let the words resonate within me! *sigh*

Peace & Love

This reminds me of something my husband says sometimes, that love can be like a river and when it keeps within it's banks it is fruitful and helpful to everything around it, but if you over-do it on love it becomes like a river in flood stage, destroying everything in it's path.
Meaning, we should love each other, but temper the love with wisdom so as not to enable people to continue in their addictions etc etc.

I married a deep thinker, did I not? He he- lucky me!

That... was thought-provoking. Hmm :) I love the picture, btw. Dusk is my favorite part of the day!
