A Harmonious World

Imagine what a harmonious world it could be if every single person, both young and old shared a little of what he is good at doing. ~Quincy Jones

I agree with this completely. How wonderful if we could do this as a global project where every kid has a mentor. Actually both the young and the experienced will learn from one another all the time.

The young: will gain insights and guidance and balance from the experienced.

The experienced: will learn to be a kid again to have spontaneous happiness that they have forgotten from trying too hard to be adults.

susan- it's a good thing, I'm sure ; )

polona- well, that is another thing all together :-\

ruby- you made my day with this wonderful idea! What a grand life we would lead. I dreamt of one of my nephews this morning. He's 5 and such a free spirit. He was that way in my dream - so playful and spontaneous. I think I needed to be reminded of how the child plays. It felt good to have him visit me.
