I agree wholeheartedly, and I'm in a lesson phase right now, trying hard to forgive someone that I really need to forgive. My problem is that I did not deserve the things that happened, and I can't understand it because I would not do those things to another. It's been tough for me. Thanks for sharing. This was right on time.
Before we can forgive others, we have to (truly) forgive ourselves.
urban - it is hard to offer forgiveness when we don't understand what is behind another's actions. May a healing enter your heart...

Well, Urban Butterfly and I could have written the same comment. Only I haven't gotten to the part where I feel I really need to forgive, but that's how it goes. Forgiveness is a tricky demon sometimes. Very odd this quote comes now. Ha.
