Stop Struggling

A further sign of health is that we don't become undone by fear and trembling, but we take it as a message that it's time to stop struggling and look directly at what's threatening us. ~Pema Chödrön

Such a wonderful message. It's been a long time since I've stopped by to visit. So much work, but I had to stop in to say Hello. Hope that you are doing well. Best to you always.

powerful...beautiful...i love it! and it's the TRUTH!!

and I agree with Joni James, it's sometimes difficult to stare in the face of what we are afraid of and deal with it. But its so necessary for progress.

cergie - I like that one :)

camille- it is very hard and the trick too, is to not make ourselves wrong for what we encounter, to instead befriend these parts of ourselves.

I have to say that I have handled so many things "wrong" in the past, things I saw coming and feared. I have spent much time kicking myself for the weaknesses it revealed in me. Over time though, and in hind sight, I can see how these things made improvements to my resiliance and I am truly thankful for that.

joni- it takes courage to accept these parts of ourselves and it is easy to blame ourselves or others when we discover the "weakness". I'm happy you were brave enough to embrace yourself and thus, reap the benefits!
