Stand and Stare

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

i love this idea. it always makes me want to stop and look around. throw out the normal pace of things and slow down.

it's a good thing we have gulls to show us the way...
love this

Anyway even if we take time to stand and wait we will do much waste (as gulls do)...
Sorry, Get Zapped, I'm joyful today...

Nice post, GZ

stand, stare and care -- now goes in one go for me..

May be I am a bit too used to it...but then i need time to look within :)

devika

I'm staring at you, Z. Don't be afraid. It's only me.

I've learned to take the time to do just that, but sometimes I need a little reminder ;)

Thank you my friend.

Thanks to all of you who stopped by and dropped a line. I hope each of you took some time to stop and stare this week :)

Antoine de Saint Exupery said that love is not looking each other but being sitting side by side and watching towards the same direction without any word.
Without any word ? But it was neccessary to speak much before, I believe.
It is so I understand this quote : have time to stare when the job or the play or a full time was done...

Thanks for leaving a comment on Menton DP yesterday. I see we've both photographed birds who stand and stare. Always loved this poem.

Really like your blog and the mind and soul behind it. Thanks.

Great photos all around! I like the way you tilted the shot and the way you cropped this photo. Less is more :)
