Husbands

Husbands are like fires - they go out when unattended.

Thank you for your appreciation ^__^.
The image and the poem are both mine so I'm truly happy you like it... Well, I think everyone of us is a little like a fire...
Sometimes we can also go out, but there are always the embers under the ash.
Bye... ^^

Cool. You're sorta doing the same thing. You got it right about the fire and what a great reminder about the embers!

They turn to ashes in front of laundry machines.

To Getzapped:

Do you mean I'm doing the same thing you are doing here? Maybe unconsciously... I love words, music and images. I love the magic that lives in them and the wonder they create when you follow yourself and put all these elements together.
I'm very often an optimist (by the way... you spoke about optimism exactly on the day of my birth ^^) and this lead me to search for Beauty in me, around me and in the others... and share it, if I can.

To Ambient:

Do you know a wonderful writer named Neil Gaiman?... Well, in his graphic novel "Sandman", one of his masterpieces, he writes: "People think dreams aren't real just because they aren't made of matter of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes."
Ashes are the 'memories' of fire... they are like unshakable 'lost hopes'.
So you can clearly see how ashes themself are very essenzial to make dreams come true... even more 'in front of laundry machines'... ^__^

(ps: I hope I haven't made too many mistakes in my writing...)

Yes, you combine words and images that inspire. Keep the optimism alive! Thank you for your comments, too ; )

I once had a dream of an old girl friend with a penis.

It was the most natural thing in the world.

I said, "you girls are so lucky, you can just go take a piss anywhere you want."

That old androgynous nudge.
